“I’m not a prophet or a stone aged man, just a mortal with potential of a superman. I’m living on.”
— David Bowie

He was brilliant, elegant, and ever chameleonic. He pulled us all closer together, by allowing us to set ourselves apart. Everything he touched was imbued with artistry, wry wit, and warm, intelligently felt, emotion. He was, despite his denials, a prophet, albeit one whom spoke quietly and taught by eloquent example.  To live by his tenets means individuality is to be treasured, conformity questioned, imagination revered, talent - generously shared.

He was our alien, our beautiful freak, our Goblin King, and our Thin White Duke. He shed a thousand skins for us, all with a sly smile and conspiratorial nod. He was David Bowie and he was our hero.

Below are a few moments of Bowie magic, just enough to break the surface of that deepest and sweetest of wells. Dive down and look around.  You won’t regret it.
